were unavoidably prevented from being present at the most interesting part of the exerc ises, the exhibition which we much regret. But we understand it was well attended. Mr. Clarkso n was present who will notice the exercises. We will not omit to say that we were present and heard the able address of the Rev. T. M. Eddy upon education. Mr.E.took an enlarged view of the whole subject, and contended for universal and thorough and practical education, not simply the cultivation of the intellect but the practical education of humanity,
