Snow Sleighing. On Saturday, Feb. 5th, we had a deep fall of snow; so deep that it prevented many of the ladies from attending the churches on the following Sabbath. The mail did not arrive, as usual on Saturday night. The sleighing in the streets was good. In the country the roads were not sufficiently solid. There not being but one turnpike leading out of Connersville, and that only three miles in length the extent of sleigh-riding was considerably limited, and of course, the pleasures derived therefrom were short and sweet. Never mind "There's a good time coming boys; wait a little longer." WVlIhave a turnpike one of these days. We anticipate a glorious sleigh-ride to West Union next winter.

This appears to be a feasible route and would tend greatly to develop the resources of our fertile valHev. It would connect us with the Lakes 0:1 thj north and the Ohio 011 the south.
