orth Wotl. Those merchants and mechanics living
in tho N--rth West part of our county , should know that through the Indiana American is the best means of letting th people know hat they are doing aud , what they have to soil. For this purpose we will inform them of the extent of the circulation of the American in the !r neighborhood. We have the following number of subscribers, to wit: At Metamora 44 Laurel 144 Andersonville 17 Stipp's Hill 2 Clarksburgh 2.i Null's 3Iiils 15 Besides this we send smaller packages of papers to Springhill, Riehlanl, New Salem. Columbia, FayetteviHe. and all the other offices in Decatur, Rush and Fayette counties. ' But'to the six offices we have enumeraated above we semi 2S7 papers weekly Those offices and towns, are within th" circuit of customers to of the stores and the shops in that neighborhood. An advertisement then in onr paper one week, is as good as 2S7 handbills distributed amonj their customers. And better, too. for the reason that thev are more certainly circulated and read, than handbills. The papers go into the families who are able to buy, and who look to the papers to know whore to
