It is cheap, and any oue who can "slack lime," dissolve salt, and use a whitewash brush not a very difficult task, certainly can employ it successfully and in a way to endure for years unimpaired. It is an excellent plan iu mixing whitewash, to add as much salt as the water required to reduce the lime to the requisite consistency, will dissolve. This renders it more durable, and adds not a iitt!e to the anti-nutrvscent
