Messrs. Sands Gentlemen 1 can speak

from a very gratifying personal experience

of the great value of your preparation of

Sarsaparilla ror about nine months I

suffered beyond expresdon from an attack

of that Prosean and destroying disease,

Ncuralffia, by which I was rendered incapa

bio of attending my ordinary employment.

For months I was unable to write a line or

hold a pen, or convey food to my mouth; and such was my bodily distress, that to sleep, except in brief catches after extreme exhaustion, was impossible. The medical treatment usual in this disease availed me

nothing, and 1 was at last persuaded to try your Sarsaparilla. Before the second bottle wa3 nuitc used, the disease abated. 1

continued to take it to the amount of six

bottles, and was perfectly relieved, and I hope permanently no indication of a re

lapse having appeared yet.

1 believe you have not claimed for your

Sarsaparilla that it is particalarly adapted to the tormenting disease to which 1 was subject- but I have no doubt it was the

means of my recovery , and should have no hesitation in recommending it to others who may bo ruffcring from Neuralgia. The ra

tionale of ita success is, I think, not difficult

of explanation.

as nitrate of silver and arsenic, have been

THE PEOPLE OF FRANKLIN &

ADJOINING COUNT IES. fN seriousness we address you, an upon an important subject; on which deeply effects your interests; we therefore earnestly solicit your candid and careful attention. In presenting this subject we have in view, we would refer you to the following well known gentlemen. We do

j this, being fully aware tbat'such names are

uu) ukiw.u io givo coaracier ana import tance to any subject; we therefore, would urge upon all, who after carefully reading this article, feel they are interested, to call upon the gentlemen referred to, and "6ee whether these things are so."

Hitt & Haile, Brookville. E. Tyner & Co. Metamora, Coswell.Shocp & Yan BERGE.,Laurel Wm. Adams, Fairfield, E. Corey, Blocminggrove, Morgan & Nickols, Anderionville. The above gentlemen have either used, or are agents for the sale of the famous, and justly celebrated "Jew Davids or Hebrew Plaster" and "Resurrection or Persian Pi,"and have recently been supplied with them anew and can testify to their exalted character, and also furnish uncontrovertable proof as to their virtues and efficacy.in all cases for which,e;tuer the "He.

Drew f iaster," or "Persi-in Pills," hre recommended. The success of these Medicines in the Eastern States, and W. T.

Ohio, Pa., Nichigan, Illinois.and this State end indeed wherever introduced, have been unprecedented in the annals of medicines, clearly proving the fact, that when a medicine possessing real merit and great medical virtues, is offered to the public, it will meet with a success commensurate with its worth. ' The character of the "Hebrew Piaster" and "Persian Pills," is fairly established , and upon a firmer basis than any other medicines of which we have any knowledge. Having, for six years successfully met and

warded off the shafts of malice and envy, which by the interested, have been hurled against them and by their wonderful cures, done away with all prejudice heretofore cxsting against patent remedies, we have good grounds for the assertion, that we Bincerely believe there is no medicine that gives such general satisfaction and fails in so few instances to benefit all who use them as the "Hebrew Plaster" and "Persian Pills." This is said after mature deliberation and in no spirit of boasting. Wc wish the medicine to stand upon its own merit, therefore shall not attempt to give it character by puffs or ficticious certificates, as such a course never adds to the virtues of any medicine, but is sure soon to meet ite just reward from an enlightened public. Of the "Hebrew Plaster," we remark that

the peculiarities of this Chemical Compound, are owing to its extraordinary effect, upon the animal fibre or nerves, ligaments and muscles; its virtues being carried by

them to the immediate scat of disease, or ofjpain and weakness,

However good any internal remedy may

plaster. The application of this plaster between

the shoulders, has been found a certain re

medy for Colds, Coughs. Phthisic and Lung Affections, in their priraarystages. It destroys inflammation, by producing a copious perspiration. No physician should be without it. No puffing or great spread of certificates is intended. Those who wish to satisfy themselves of the efficacy of this Plaster can obtain sufficict to spread 6 or 8 pit sters, for 50 cts. We would caution the public against buying of any one but those who we publish as agenti; for we have reason to believe some unprincipled person has tampered with the life and health of his fellow man, by counterfeiting the "Hebrew Plaster." Be sure and ascertain that whoever has tho Plaster for sale are agents for the subscribers. None other is genuine. THE RESURRECTION OR PEREIAN PILLS. These Pills raise from the greatest weakness, distress, and suffering, to a state of strength, health and happinegs. The name of these pills originated from the circumstance of the medicine being found only in the cemeteries ofPersia. This vegetable production being of a peculiar kind", led to experiments as to it medical qualities, and virtues. In half a century it became an established medicine for the diseases of thatrountry. The extract ofthis singular production was introduced into some parts of Europe in the year 17S3, and used by many celebrated physicians in curing certain diseases, where all other medicines had been used in vain.Early in the year 1792.the extract was com -bined with a certain vegetable medicine imported from Dura Baca, in the East In dies, and form ed into Pills. Those in health, who live in marshy conn tries and unhealthy climates, can avoid the diseases to which their situations are subject, by taking the Persian Pil'a once, and in some instances.perbaps, twite a week, to cleanse the system, and purify it from the small accumulation of effluvia, which causes the different diseases, in different situations of the country. Those who find diseases fast increasing upon them.should take 6 or 8 pills on going to bed, which will generally operate .as a gentle emetic and cathartic; after wiiicn continue the use of tbem in smaller doses, as recommended on either part of toe bill. Those who follow this course will find them a sure and Never failing Preventive. Price ofPills 25 cents per Janunry23rd. 6-ly
