Scrofula or King's Evil, Salt Rheum

Ring Worm, Ulcers, painful 'affections of

the Bones, Chronic Sora Lyes, IHotches, Glandular enlargements and all diseases

arising from impurity of blood

The following is from R. C. Larjdon,

formerly editor of the Troy Times, in re lation to Burdsal's extract of Sarsaparilla

"Itiaa valuable medicine. I have tried it thoroughly and can bear ample testimony to its good effects in my own person. I

have for several years been the Bubject of

violent diseases, acute pains in the limbs,

ice, and verily believe the free use of Sar

eaparilla was the principal remedy that performed the cure." For further evidence

of its efficacy, reference is made to the fol

lowing Physicians, who have prescribed

it with every success in their practice: Dr. Stephen Bonner, Dr. Charles Woodward, Wm. Mount, J. P. Buckner, " William Smith, William Goshorn. J. Black; Or to Micnjah Williams, Esq., Adam N. Riddle, " Edward C. Roll, N. M'Lean, Samuel Lewis, " Samuel Talbott. " Captain L. Shally, James Torrence.

All of these last named gentlemen have either tried it themselves or used it in their families, with the happiest results. Numerous references might be given, but these are deemed sufficient. This preparation is warranted to cure the mose inveterate case of disease, arising from impurity of blood; it has never vet been known to fail, and in no case is remuneration asked, where a perfect and speedy cure is not effected. nish uncontrovertable proof as to their virtues and efficacy in all cases for which, either the 'Hebrew Plaster," or "Persian Pills." are re

in the Eastern States, and W. T., Ohio, Pa., Nichigan, Illinois, and this Slate and indeed

wherever introduced, have been unprecedented in the annals of medicines, clearly proving the fact, that when a medicine possessing real merit and great medical virtues, is offered to the public, it will meet with a success commisurate with its worth. The character of the "Hebrew Plaster" anJ 'Persian Pills," is fairly established, and upon a firmer basis than any other medicines of which we have any knowledge. Having, forsix years successfully met and warded off the shalts of malice and envy, which by the interested, have been hurled against themand by ther wcndeiful

'cures, done away with all prejudice heretofore

existing against patent remedies, we have good giounds for the asserticn, that we sincerely be

lieve there is no medicine that gives such gen

eral satisfaction and fails in so lew instances to

benefit all who use them, as the"Hebrew Plas

ter and "Persian Pills." This is said after maturj deliberation and in no spirit of boasting. We wish the medicine to stand upon its own merit, therefore shall not attempt to give it character by puffs or ficticious certificates, as such a course never adds to the virtues of ar.y medicine, but is sure soon to meet its jutt reward from an enlightened public. Ol the"IIei brew Plaster," we remark that the peculiari-

tiesorttua Chemical Compound, are owing to its extraordinary effects, upon the animal fibre or nerves, ligaments and muscles; its virtues being carried by them to tho immediate seat of disease, or of pain and weakness, However good any internal remedy may be,

tins, as an external application, will prove a

powerful auxiliary in removing the disease and facilitating the cure in cases of Local Inflam" mation. Scrofulous Affections, King's Evil, Gout. Inflammatory and Chronic Rheumatism,

the like, to the united satisfaction of ourselves

and others.

It has likewise been very beneficial in cases

of weakness, such as Weakness and Pain in the 6tomach, Weak Limbs, Lameness, Affections of the Spine, Female Weaknesses, &c. No fe

male, subject to pain or weakness in the back or side, should be without it. Married ladies, in delicate situations, find ercat relief from

wearing this plaster.

1 he application of this plaster between the

shnuiders, has been found a certain remedy for Colds, Coughs. Phthisic and Lung Affections,

in their primary stages. It destroys inflammation, by producing a bopious perspiration. No

physician should be without it. No puffing or great spread of certificate is intended. Those who wish to satisfy themselves of the efficacy of tLis Plaster can obtain sufticiet to spread 0 or 8 pit sters, for 50 cts. We would caution tho public against buying of any one but those who we publish as agent; for we have reason to believe some unprincipled person has tampered with the life and health of his fellow man, by counterfeiting the "Hebrew Plaster." Be sure and ascertain that whoever has the Plaster for sale are agents for the subscribers. None other is genuine. THE RESURRECTION OR PERSIAN PILLS. These Pills raise from the greatest weakness, distress, and suffering, to a state of strength, halth and happiness. The name of these pills originated from the circumstance of the medicine being found only in the cemeteries of Pers ia. This vegetable production being of a peculiar kind, led to experiments as to it 9 medical qualities, and virtnes. In half a century it became an established medicine for the diseases ofthat country. The extract of this singular production was introduced into some parts of Europe in the year 1783, and used by mauy celebrae' physicians in curing certain diseases, where I other medicines had been used in vain. v in the year 1792. the extract was combine ' l with a certain vegetable medicine irr' '' 1 from Dura Baca, in the East Indies, am !
