Our LateL0it latel news fiota the Elections is from the Cm. Gazette of yesterday. Pennsylvania. The probability is that Shunk's majority will be between 2.003 and 5,000, and that tb. locos will have a small ma

counties to hear front, and they may increase Shunk's majority to 4.000. But the Whigs ia that State are in good spirits. They are confident of carrying the State for Clay in November. Shunk is a strong Protective Tariff" man, and sustained it on the stump; consequently many who will vote for Clay voted for the loco Governor. We believe Clay' majority in Pennsylvania in November will beiXKW! Mark that! Ohio. Nothing new. FFive counties yet unheard from. Bi t Baitley's maj. will be about 3.000! Ohio is perfectly safe.
