The Sisters. On of the meat trucking and beautiful little an., in thp lsnmiife is the followiaff.by Craiii

Let me not bae tkia gloomy View, About my room, around my bed; But morning roses, wet with dew To cool my burning brow in stead. At flow'rslbat once in Edn grew. Let them their fragrant spirits shed. And every day the sweets renew. Till 1. a fading flower, am dead, Oh ! lei the herbs I loved to rear Give to my sense their perfumed breath; Let them be placed about tny bier, And grace the gloomy bouse of death. I'll have my grave beneath a bill, Where only Lucy's self shall know, Where runs tbe pure pellucid rill Upon its gravelly bed below; There violets on the bordera blow, - And insects their soft light display. Till, as the morning sunbeams glow, . The cold phosphoric fires decay . This is the grave to Lucy shown, The soil a pur aud stiver sand, The green cod moss above it grown, Uapluck'd of all but maiden hand; In virgin earth, till thenunturn'd. There let my maiden form be laid, Ner let my changed clay be spurn'd Nr for new guest that bed be made. There will the lark the lamb, in sport. In air on earth securely play, And l.ucy to my grave resort. As innocent, but not so gay. I wwi not hate the church yard ground, With bones all black and ugly grown, To press tny shivering body round, WroD my wasted limbs be throwa.

With rib and skulls I will not sleep,

In clammy beds of cold blue clay. Through which the ringed earlU-wurms creep, And on the shrouded bosoms prey; I will not have the bell proclaim When those sad marriage rites begin, And boys, without regard or shame, Press the vile mouldering masses in. Say Rot, it is beneath my cart; 1 cannot these eold truths allow; These thoughts may not afflict me then, But, O! they vex and tease me bow. Kais not a turf, nor set a stone, That man a i&aidens grave may trace, But thou, my Lucy, com alone, And let affection lied a place O! take me from a world I hat, Men cruel, selfish, sensual, cold; And, in come pure and blessed state, Let m my sietei minds behold; . i Prom gross and sordid views refined. Our hea-en of spotless love to share, For only generous souls design'd. And not a man to meet us Ibare.

which boast of vegetable ingredients, the Life Pills

are purely and solely vegetable, and contain nei

ther Mercury. Antimony, Arsemc, nor any other mineral, in any form whatever. They are entirely composed of extracts from rare and powerful

plants, tbe virtues of which, though long known to several Indian tribes, and recently to some em

inent pharmaceutical chemists, a re altogether unknown to the ignorant pretenders to medical sc -

happily efficacious a combination

Their first operation is to loosen from the coats

of the stomach and bowels, the various impurities

and crudites constantly settling around them; and

to remove the hardened farces which collect in the convolutions of the small intestines. Oiher medicines only partially cleanse these, and leave such

collected masses behind as to produce habitual ros-l

tiveness, with all its train of evils, or sudden diar rhcea, with it imminent dangers. This fact is well known to all regular anatomists who examinthe human bowels after death.- and hence the pree judice of these well informed men against the quack medicines of the age. The second effect of the Vegetable Life Pills is to cleanse tbe kidneyst anc the bladder, and by this means, the liver and the lungs, the healthful action of which entrely depends upon the regularity of the urinary organs. The Blood, which ti'res its red color from the a-

gency of the liver and the lungs before it passes into the heart, being thus purified by their., and

nou ished by food coming from a clean stmacr-,

courses freely through the veins, renews eveiy
