a gentleman just arrived in the cars from Westerly, reports the majority on Block Is

the Newark Daily Advertiser of Friday. In

Ohio has to cive the Barbecue. They are in
for it, and they will do it in noble stjle. Where will it be! They have no place in Ohio large enough to assemble the vast number of whigs that will meet on that occasion.
We would propose to the Buckeyes to borrow the Grand Prairie of Illinois, it being the only open field in the United Slates large enough. 1 . . -
