DR. EVANS FEYER AND AGUE PILLS
These pills, to admirably adspted to a fiord uniform relief in the different modifications of the dis-
treasing maladies, are particularly recoinmenoea
to public notice. n l lie acceesionoi iue coio eiage, when the face and limbs of the sufferer become psle, and the sensation of cold and languor are felt
pervading tbe wboie sysiem, iueir lomiDinmiun is i accompanied with astonishing bucccss. They soon j letsen tbe subsequent distressing shivering, and violent shaking, and by continuing in their use, (as directed) will ultimately cure the most obstinate Acce. They do not exhaust like purges, still tbeir action is more universal and effectual. they remove all obstructions, excite the functions of the Liver to a healthy action, and produce a free cir
culation. These pills are of signal utility in those
distressing cases, where there is a sallowness of complexion, pain in the rein on of the liver, tension
and distress in the epigastric region, with other
symptoms indicating the existence of morbid action or chronic disease of the stomach, liver, bowels, mesentery, or spleen, which consequences so generally supervene from protracted intermfltents. Tbey permanently overcome these diseases, at the same time give tone to the stomach, cleanse and strengthen the bowels, and impart health, vigor, and eutrgy to the system. Many persons emigrate to the rich and fertile s il of the wet in the hops of attaining a future competency, hut alas! ere long that hope becomes blast'd, when they appear with impaired aud enfeebled constitutions, resulting jroia attacks of that direful terror of the WeFt, Fever and Jlgve. If such persons had resorted to the ue of the above pills, the sunken, pallid countenance would hive been restored to its florid huo. the vital energy re-established, and the hole system purified and invigorated. They are now regarded as an inestimable public blessing, and indisper.sible to the health, comfort, and even the local
prosperity of the inhabitants of mar.y portions of
tue rreetern Country. 1 hese mils are an eftectu-
al reZT"ly n Fever and Ague; they invariably ef
fect a perm-. ?nt cure, vn am feeling the premonitory fymptoms of too Ague, ft is advisable at once to clear thoroughly the stomach and bd'els In noway can this be better and less inconvenient
ly produced than by taking a dose of Dr. Wm. Evtna Purifying Pills, the value and welt authenticated' virtues of which medicine have been, and still are, too apparent to call for further comment.
I hey tend to promote a healthy secretion of the bile, and render the system capable of receiving with benefit the Invigorating or Strengthening Pills, a never failing reme.ii? in preserving the constitution from attacks of tbe above diseases, and strengthening the stomach, and the whole system. (Price One collar a pack containing both kinds of Pills. , Haklbm. Y, June 2J. 18"9 To Dr Wm Evans- Dear Sir I have been af
flicted durng the spring and fall of the last three years, wilh the Fever and Ague; the docltorswho attended me, called it tbe tertian kind; it returned very other day. AH my friends supposed that there was no hope for my recover)'; I si ways felt languid and feeble; my face and limbs became pale and emaciated; my bieathing was short and anxious, with a constant pain in my right side; the fit generally continued eight or ten hours, during which time there was otlen an acute pain in the head; sometimes slight delirium. I was told hy a friend (who had likewise happily experienced the salutary effects of I)r Evans. Fever and Ague Pills) that they had cured him and was likely to
prove benehcml to me. I sent for them. And
glad I am to assert, that I never had a return of tbe ague after using a few packages of them; they are an invaluable remedy for that distressing complaint, and 1 ardently hope that the public will soon become fully acquainted with their virtaes. You may publish this if you consider il of any service to you. Yours with esteem, CHARLES ANDERSON.
