PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. We have been very careful in obtaining
all the information noon the suhiert of the
Presidency for this paper. It will be found in the following columns. There is but very little doubt but Gen. Harrison is elected. Next week we shall be able to state positively about this matter. So far as returns have come, we have been disappointed in no state except Virginia, and although she may yet vote for Harrison, still her maiorilv will be
too meagre (if at all) for her two gallant ons.; Implicit reliance should not be placed in any j of our returns, still we think they are nearly correct. '
Indiana. We have received returns (not official) from 51 counties of Indiana, in which Harrison's majority is 11,233. There are 87 counties in the Slate, consequently 3G more to hear from, which in all probability will increase Harrison's majority between 2 and 3,000 more. We deem it useless to give a table of the votes of this State until the official returns are received. Our majority will be over 12,000.
