readers and in pinching times editors have not
philosophy sufficient to refuse to publish them.
But disposing of these .will also add some addi tionni interest to oar paper.

importance than the Tike triumph of the people in the
year 1S00, in the election of the Tatriot Jefferson,
we shall be very particular in giving our readers the returns correctly in every county in the United Siates, to be fiied4 away for future reference . We

worthy to be relied on, and be careful that they
ate all correct.

from 50 counties in POhio. Gen. Harrison is
603 votes ahead ef Cor wins vote in these
counties, or about 20,000 ahead of Van Bu
ren, Harrison has gained in every county
over the vote of the 13th. His majority in
Hamilton county is 37, sixteen over Corwin's vote. In Wellcr's Congressional District,the Whig majority is 142, being a gain in that District of 226 voles. Harrison's majority in
