Mr. Gray, editor of the Vevay Times, and for
snerly edi'.or of the Madison Courier, has left the,
federal ranks, and eotne out tor Democracy and the! interest of the people. He is an able writer one
of the strongest they had in the federal ranks in
this State. He is about commencing a Democrat
ic Whig paper at Yevay. Federalism will have a very alight support in Indiana by Nov. next.

cannot contend bold! with its adversaries in the

filthy organ of federalism, we are compelled to give
them credit for it. Theis is a candid avowal that
their federal party cannot contend with the Demo
