The VrcE-pRKsinE.vr did not present them, being deterred from doing so, probably, cither by their intemperate character, or because they contained no request for such presentation. In presenting the resolutions, Mr. Hill read a strong political speech to the Senate, which he closed by a motion that the resolu tionsofthe Legislalurcshould be read, printed, and referred to the Committee on Fiance. After the Resolutions were read Mr. BELL said that he had no remarks to make in relation to the gratuitous and unsolicited presentment of these resolutions, nor to the spirit and motives which induced the presentation of resolutions of such a character. These, he did not doubt, were justly appreciated by the Senate. He well knew the origin of these resolutions. They were manufactured, be believed, in this City, and sent to New Hampshire to the care of two hopeful younmen.who were fit insrtuments in the hands of the mover of the wires, who prepared the resolutions. Their claims to be regarded as among the legitimate leaders of the Democracy of the Slate, consisted in their beinc lineal descendants nf linvnlniimiuf p Tn.
