boards of canal commissioners, of Ohio and
Indiana, are to meet at Fort Wayne, on the
loth instant, to concert measures for the pros
ecution of the Wabash and Erie canal, from

On the 1 1th inst. a sail boat used in convev-
ing passengers to and from the Steam Boats landing at the pier off Erie, Pa. capsized and

Destructive Fire. About 20 minutes to
7 o'clock this morning, a lire was discovered
