By order of general committee. DEATH OF JAMES M. SMITH. , James M. Smith, owner of the Pishel hotel at this place, died last . Saturday evening, after a two weeks’ illness of typhoid pneumonia. The funeral services were conducted last Monday by Rev. W. W. Smith at the Pleasant Grove church, in the beautiful cemetery of which the remains ! were laid to rest. Philip Spaugh was the funeral director.
