When the company was organized, the commercial club deeded the property to the cabinet company on the condition tnat they permanently oper ate a cabinet company in this city. | A few years ago Grafton Johnson of Indianapolis aquired the property from Prank Coss, the woner at that time on a mortgage, and immediately sold the property to Arthur S. Speiglv
of Shelbyville.
Soon after this sale the company i went into the hands of a receiver, and Mr. .Speigle sold the machinery *" ! and equipment out of the buildings. Since that time the plant has been standing vacant, and a short time ago Greene G. Parker of this city attempted to acquire the property for • th<. purpose of erecting a cement • block plant. Mr. Parker 'had the deed and abstract examined and it was found that the conditions of these ' had been violated and that the property <bd not belong to Mr. Speigle, I but to the Greencastle Commercial Club, according to the terms of their contract with the cabinet company When these facts were brought out the Commevial Chib voted to bring suit to regain the title to the land.
