Judge Hutchison ordered Muncie returned to the jail until he may be examined by a commis ion to determine his insanity at the present
time.
Muncie who appeared to be under a severe strain since the ease was given to the jury, jumped from his chair when the v edict was an nounced and embraced hi wife. The confession of the wif. concerning her intimate relations with Dr. Wil liams formed one of the strongest points in the evidence for the defendant. She related th.it th physician violated profogRional ethics I after having been called (o treat her at her home. Sfame weeks afterwards she told the facts of the ease to her husband. Ho procured a revolver and waited for the physician at the stairway leading to his office. While the physician was leaving his automobile, Muncie shot and killed Dr. Williams. Evidence jubmitted at Hie trial , showed that Muncie had suffered , mentally after his wife related the story to him. The jury received instructions from Judge Hutchison late Saturday * ve ning and entered into deliberations at once. After 11 o'clock today ihe jury asked to he reinstructed and Judge Hutchison was called from his home.
