Birthday Surprise. Last Sunday was the 56th birthday of i George P. Burks, and R. W. Crawley j took him out lor a drive. While he | was gone his relatives, friends and neighbors to the number of about 60 gathered at his handsome new house, fn the southern part of the city. When Mr. Burks returned he found tables loaded down with good tnings to eat, and the occasion was one of great pleasure. Among those present were Messrs and Mesdames
