Fatal Accident.

On Friday Ross, the 8-year old son of John Scott, who resides about four miles northeast of Cloverdale, while playing with a hay fork in his father’s barn, received an injury that caused his death the following day. The hay fork fell, the point striking him just by the side of the naval, and pierced his bowels, passing entirely through his body. Dr. Prichard was called, and he gave him all the attention and relief possible, but there was no possibility of his recovery, and the little fellow died on Saturday afternoon.
