sold at just One-Half Price w ithin two weeks.

Sale Begins March 30 and Closes April 13. How can 1 make such prices on goods! That is the question that many people will stand on the stnet corners and talk al out, while other people will be smart enough to take advantage of the situation and buy the bargains offered before they are all gone. What difference does it make how I got the goods or where I got them, so that you save 50 cents on every dollar? Some will say that the sale is not a genuine cut sale. If this is your idea about it let your eye glance at the prices below, and you will change your mind. But after all, why will I sell goods at such prices? Well, I will tell you. Every merchant whol does a large business must order his goods six months ahead, and he buys many thousands of dollars worth of goods largely on speculation; that is. he orders such goods as he expec ts to sell. But he cannot tW what his trade will be during the year, and at the end of the year he finds his counters loaded down with goods that he should have sold. Now what must be done with such goods? People who are not in busc-J ness would say keep them; they will eat nothing. But a business man would say sell them; sell them at any price. Why? Because every minute a piece of goods lays on the shelf it is getting old, and in timej would not bring one-half its value. This is just my condition at present. I have several thousand dollars worth of goods (more than I wish to keep) that have accumulated during the past year, and the dul season is coming on, and I do not want to carry them over to next winter. This sale is perfectly legitimrte, honest and correct. asrorw ifou. t’-ft-f!
