THE NYE POULTRY HOUSE
One of the Leading Industries of the City From An Agricultural Standpoint
The Nye Poultry House, conducted by Thomas Nye, at 20 West North street, is one of the leading industries of Greenfield from an agricultural standpoint. The fact that this institution is located in our midst leaves thousands of dollars here, for if we did not have an institution of this kind much of the produce received here would be shipped to commission merchants in the larger cities and the shipper would receive a price that does not compare favorably with the prices paid by this well known concern.
It is a well known fact that the poultry house of Thomas Nye pays the highest market prices for poultry of all kinds and the fact that lie is in a position to sell their produce direct to the consumer on a large scale gives him an edge on the market above other places of this kind. This enables him to,pay higher prices for produce than any small dealer.
The Nye establishment is in the hands of Thomas Nye, a competent and conscientious man, and the people have found that it is a pleasure to do busines with Mr. Nye, as lie always pays in cash. He is always pleasant and courteous and is ready and willing to give the latest market quotations. If you have any poultry or eggs you are thinking of disposing of just call him up.
YOUR SOLE
Needs the Attention of An Expert Who Can Make It New While You Wait.
The shoe repair shop of Sam Tolch. just east of the court house, is one of the institutions that fills a long felt want in the city, as here your shoes can be repaired by electricity while you wait.
The place is fitted witli all the latest improved machinery for the conducting of a place of this kind and is ready for quick work. The new process of shoe repairing is not only much faster than the old,

There are no long nails pounded into them as by the hand method to give you endless torment and trouble, aside from the inconvenience of having them tear out your hose.
Only the best leathers' are used at this place in repairing and this alone is worth much, as poor leather will get soggy and let the water in.
Mr. Tolch is also prepared to vulcanize rubber boots and resole arctics and maintains a shining parlor.

They are prompt in filling all contracts and while their work is of the highest class and the equal of anybody anywhere their prices are always of a ..•••very modest character.

When it comes to durability the products of the Young & Duncan factory and their contract work tops the market, because they never shrink, swell, burn down, blow away or decay. The use of cement work is just in its infancy and the future augurs well. These products are the cheapest in the long run and will stand as a monument to the erector's judgment for the future generations to admire.

THE LADIES' WEARING APPAREL SHOP
Is the Mecca For Well Dressed Ladies of Greenfield and Surrounding Country.
Resplendent with the season's latest and most artistic designs and presenting a profusion of the best and the most exclusive that the market affords in all its departments, The Ladies' Wearinsr Apparel Shop of Miss Lenna Barr, at 28 West Main street, advances the most substantial argument in favor of buying in Greenfield that any booster organization could offer the public.
The principle upon which the shop is operated is the exclusiveness and distinctiveness of its millinery creations and wearing apparel at less prices than they can be obtained in nearby cities.
The styles of this season are very attractive and reasonable. The colors of sand, battleship gray, putty, wisteria, copen. navy and black predominate. Miss Barr has just returned from the millinery openings in Chicago, where she selected her stock with care and precision from the leading milliners of the East, West and Europe. Her stock includes pattern hats from such exclusive houses as Gage's. Edison's, Keith's and if you do not find anything to exactly suit you she will make one to fit your style of beauty and ideas and you will go out well millinered. Her hats have a distinctiveness about them that
plete and comprises only goods of quality.
