H. C. Clark, who has the management of the Shirley Elevator, is making splendid headway, and will soon have the elevator completed. It will be known as the Shirley drain Company. Mr. Clark comes from Frankfort, Indiana. He began the work of building April 22nd. and expects to complete the job in fifty days, ready for business. This will be another great addition to Shirley's enterprising business and has been needed for a long time.

A S. Houck. has given his residence on Main street a fine coat of paint which adds greatly to the appearance.

The Ladies Aid Society has taken it upon themselves to have the town of Shirley cleaned up and kept clean. There are certain ladies who have a certain sect'on to look after, and they are doing it too. They have no hesitency in asking one to clean up and stayclean. This seems to be an excellent move on the part of the good ladies of Shirley.

E. Pickering and family of Spiceland visited Mrs. T. B. Jackson on North Main street Sunday.

HYOMEI RELIEVES

Catarrh, Head Colds, Snuffles, Almost Instantly—You Breathe It

When your head is all stuffed up from a cold or a catarrhal condition, causing you to suffer with dull headaches, watery eyes, constant snuffling, spasmodic coughing, or an itching and burning sensation in the nostrils, you need a remedy that will give the quickest and most effective relief possible—something that will go right to the spot and immediately clear the head and end your suffering.

Use Hyomei—it is just such a remedy—a treatment that is harmless, pleasant to use, and leaves no disagreeable after effects. No round-about method of stomach dosing. Simply pour a few drops of Hyomei into the inhaler that comes with every complete outfit— which can be had from any drug store—and breathe it. You will immediately feel its healing and health-restoring effect.

The antiseptic and germicidal oils that comprise Hyomei mix with the air you breathe so that this health-giving medication goes directly to the sore and inflamed mucous membrane lining the nose, throat and bronchial tubes—all irritation is quickly stopped, the congestion relieved, and the delicate tissues healed and vitalized. You* will feel better at once.

The Early Drug Company sells Hyomei with agreement to refund the purchase price if you are not satisfied. This should be convincing proof that it is a dependable remedy. Ask for the complete outfit, $1.00 size. wsw (Advertisement)

A Nervous Woman Finds Relief From Suffering.

Women who suffer from extreme nervousness, often «ndure muck suffering before finding any relief. Mrs. Joseph Snyder, of Tiffin, O., had such an experience, regarding which she says: "Six months was bedfast with nervous prostration. I had sinking spells, a cold, clammy feeling,— could not stand the slightest noise. At timea would almost fly to pieces to a weak. My husband insisted on my taking Dr. Miles' Nervine, and I began to Improvo before I had finished the first bottla until I was entirely cured."

MR3. JOSEPH SNYDBR, 262 Hudson St.. Tiffin. Ohio,

Many remedies are recommended for diseases of the nervous system, that fail to produce results because they do not reach the seat of the trouble. Dr. Miles' Nervine has proven its value in such cases so many times that it is unnecessary to make claims for it. You can prove its merits for yourself by getting a

THE IRISH BRIGADE

You lovers of romantic fiction— here's a fine, thrilling tale of the brave days of Tournay and Fontenoy, when that immortal band of exiled Irishmen were fighting for The Lilies of France.

Handsome young Shea, the daring and reckless Irish soldier, is a hero after your own heart the beautiful French girl he loves is all that a heroine should be.

It's a brilliant setting for a great story, and Mr. Parrish has certainly given us one.
