She admonished the young people not to follow the crowd unless the crowd was headed right. She told a story of an old Catholic man who was losing his sight and who tested his vision each morning by looking down the street to his own church steeple to see if he could see the cross. One morning his vision was too blinded to see the cross. She drew a picture of what it meant

for the individual to lose sight of the real cross of Jesus Christ. The Junior C. E. met at 2 p. m., and the meeting for high school girls was at 3, Mr?. Harrold presiding. This meeting was especially full of interest. The girls were given an opportunity to ask questions and they availed themselves of it. Many points of common interest were brought out. and they were glad to have the wholesome advice of one competent to give it, upon questions which confront every American girl. This meeting will be repeated in two weeks.
The Vesper service followed at 4 o'clock, and was well attended and full of interest, the theme of the pastor's sermon being. "Jesus Conquered Sin and Death, and Now He will Conquer the World.'' There was good congregational singing, and numbers by Wm. Robb, Misses Donna Phemister and Edna Butler, and Prof. Ellis were appreciated. This service is especially designed? lo reach the people who must be up late on Saturday nights and must get up early Monday morning. But everybody will be welcome.
The Vesper services will be continued during the month of February and probably longer. There will be no evening services during this time.
