Quite a crowd of young people had a chicken roast Monday night. Last Tuesday being the twentyfirst birthday of Cassell Watson, he entertained a company of friends, Friday night. Among those present were Misses Amy, Hazel and Grace Braddock, of Nameless Creek, Helen Craft, Rohama Garland, Ruby Cox, Leah Haman, Mina and Adeline Overman, Messrs. Austin Myers, Roscoe Thomas, Paul and Earl Bell, Ed Oldham, Lee Garland, Arnold Overman, Albert Linder. Refreshments of cream and cake were served.
Mrs. H. F. Wilson was a passenger to the Capital City Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Weeks and Mrs. Frank Weeks will enjoy atrip through Indiana and Ohio soon.

Mrs. Personett, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Huls, has returned to her home at Richmond.

Mrs. Sylvia Pauley went to Richmond Tuesday to attend the funeral of the two year old child of her niece, Mrs. Carrie Roan.
Charles Williams and wife entertained Wednesday in honor of the second birthday of their little daughter, Martha, Will Orr, wife and 'daughter, Julia Albert Williams, wife and daughter, Helen, and Walter Addison and wife.
Mrs. Alice Glascock, of Greenfield, is holding a ten days' special review for the pupils in the primary department. She will teach here again this winter, making her third term. She has gained the love and esteem of both pupils and patrons.
Miss Ada Burn's called "on her grandmother, Mrs. Ella Richardson, Monday morning.
Will Orr and family, Albert Williams and family, Will Beeson and wife, Walter Addison and wife, Mrs. Presnall and son, Lute, and Miss Mary Payne all met at the home of Omer Addison Sunday, proceeding from there to the woods where a picnic dinner and a most pleasant day was enjoyed by all.
Mrs. Mary Thomas, who has been very sick, is reported better. Rev. Morris Wines left Tuesday for the northern part of Illinois, where he will hold a meeting, going from there to Evansville, where he will hold a camp meeting, returning here about September 1st.
Rev. John T. Hatfield and wife returned home Monday from Mitchell, Ind., where he has been holding a meeting.

Money Collected and Paid OutFlood Donations—Final Report of Conditions Last March.
The Society was organized Dec. 12, 1912. The first \vork was the selling of Christmas stamps which netted $53.49. We have had two patients at the Rockville Sanitarium for treatment. The society has collected for flood sufferers the sum of $277, of which $200 was turned over to the state treasurer for relief work. The collections of clothing and food amounted in value to $250, which was sent and properly distributed by the Red Cross Society of Indiana. We have a membership of 32 life members 100 annual members, 50 contributing members and 10 advisory members. Respectfully submitted,
