ODD FELLOWSHIP
The Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Indiana has grown from a handful of members to a membership of nearly 84,000, the strongest order in the state numerically and financially. The order in Indiana starts in the new year with invested funds of §3,969,547.78, and during the year 1912 the order in the United States is proud of the record of having spent for. relief of its members, $7.32 every minute, and every dollar of this money was well spent in relieving the sick, burying the dead, and educating the orphans.
This great order is wielding and has wielded a gre^t power to bring men into a closer and better understanding of each other and of their creator. Today the organization of Odd Fellowship numbers two- and one-half millions of the best men and women that can be found in any country, and this great body is moving forward with the banner of Friendship, Love and Truth, teaching the true ideals of life, uplifting humanity, following the teachin of Jesus Christ, "Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of my brethren, ye did it unto me."
Odd Fellowship is exemplifying the Good Samaritan every day, going all over the State of Indiana, and into every state in the Union, gathering up its poor and needy, the aged and the orphan unto its bosom, caring for them at their Odd Fellow Homes, maintained in every state. In Indiana the Odd Fellows' Home is located at Greensburg, Decatur county, in sight of the tree that grows in the court house tower. This home has accomplished much during the twelve

years of its existence toward fulfilling its mission of mercy. The Great Master taught that the widow and the orphan, the afflicted and the distressed, were special objects of mercy, and this same spirit finds manifestation in the work of the Home. The brother who has borne the labor and theheat of the day in manhood, here finds shelter and food when age or adverse fortune overtakes him in the evening of life. The wife and the widow are also included in this great scheme of beneficence, and the little ones, bereft of one or both parents, are given the benefits of a home where they may be educated and reared to manhood and. womanhood and so saved to themselves and the race.'
