John Bitner and Miss Alma Chapman, of Greenfield, took supper on Sunday evening with Jesse West and family.

John Gray and family attended Sunday school and church at Shiloh Sunday.

Andy Zimmerman, who has been suffering from malaria, took a relapse, but is better now.

Ernest Bond and family and Mrs. Smith were shopping in Greenfield last Saturday.

Mark Catt and wife, who have been living in North Dakota, called on Barclay Binford and wife Saturday evening.

Mrs. Mary Gray was assisted with her threshing dinner by Mrs. Noah Willis. Mrs. Walter Miller and Mrs. Jesse West. While preparing the dinner, Cyrus, little son of Jesse West and wife, secured some croup medicine, which contained acid, and was painfully burned on the hands and one arm. It is not thought that it will prove serious.

Mrs. Ed Toms and son, Lowell, of Greenfield, visited her parents Saturday night and Sunday.

Birthday Surprise.

Friday being the birthday anniversary of Miss Berfhil Harding, a number of her friends planned a surprise for hei'. She received many beautiful presents of china, and a large shower of post cards'. Music was furnished by Lawrence Hampton and Helen Merida. Refreshments were served in four courses.

Ridge was well at ended on Saturday. Rul'us King, of North Carolina, Levi F. Cox. of Winchester Yearly Meeting, Homer Cox, of Kansas Yearly Meeting, were in attendance with helpful messages other ministers were also present. Homei' Cox was present on PYiday and gave a deep, timely message. The meeting Sunday, while very good was not so large on acount of the sudden cold snap.

Isaac Stanley and family were entertained by R. W. Brooks and family from Friday evening until Sunday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. R. Barclay Binford went to Carmel. III., Saturday, to spend a few days with their daughter, Mrs. Howard P. French and husband.
