The George W. Williams & Co., of Knifjhtstown. and C. Williams Co., of Greenfield, have been practically one, but different in name. We eliminated some silent partners front the Greenfield store in .March. Now, for the better success of the business, it becomes necessary for Chas. Williams to move to Greenfield take over the entire business there and dispose of his interest in (he Kninhtstown store. This we intend doincf by August 1st, and it becomes absolutely necessary to reduce our stock to the lowest possible point before invoicing. We must realize a large amount of cash before the final dissolution. To eii" able us to take care of a largely increasing business, it becomes necessary for us to make extensive improvements in our present quarters, making (he store about 50 feet deeper, and adding some modern equipments.
