Charles Fink and wife were at Terre Haute Wednesday attending a wedding of Mr. Fink's cousin.

Rev. C. P. Martin and wife are spending a few days with her parents, C. W. Parker and family.

Floyd Parker and wife called on Josh Ronev and wife Sunday. The children's entertainment was well attended Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Andy Spilker and children spent Sunday with Mary Holtzhansen and family of Cumberland.

Mrs. Fred Buesking, of Cumberland, called on friends here Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harting entertained Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hartmg and son, Harold, of Bell's Chapel, and Henry Cook and family, of this place, at dinner Sunday.

The Ladies' Aid Society met with Mrs. Anton Spilker last Wednesday afternoon. The attendance was 27, and collection $2.35. All reported a good time.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Watson entertained Ml*, and Mrs. Adam Deshong, of Mohawk, Sunday.

Miss Edith Wiebke, of Indianapolis, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Raesner.

Miss Cora Shaw spent Saturday with friends at Greenfield. Mr. Albert Spilker spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Will Rodewald, of Valley Mills.

The sound of the reaper is heard in our neighborhood. Misses Eva Crump and Alice Griffith returned Friday from Terre Haute, where they had been attending the Y. P. C. U. convention. They were delegates from the local church.

Mrs. Garrett Duncan is improving at this writing. William Griffith and family entertained at dinner Sunday, Rev. Elbert Thompson and wife, of Foxholm, Minn. Rolla Meek and wife, of New Castle Paul and Lee Thompson, of Greenfield Howard Owens, of Peru Henry Schilling and wife, of Acton, and Charles Fink and wife.

Andrew McDufiic called on Walter Ostermeier Friday. Nellie Craig, of Indianapolis, who has been visiting her friends here went home yesterday.

There will be Sunday school on Sunday at 9:30, preaching at 10:30, Y. P. C. E., 7:00, followed by preaching.
