The Human Electrical Forces!
How They Control the Organs of the Body.
The electrical force of (he human body, as the nerve fluid may be termed, 1j an especially attractive department of science, as it exerts so marked an influence on the health of the organs of the body. Nerve force is produced Dy the brain and conveyed by means of the nerves to the various organs of the body, thus supplying the latter with the vitality necessary to insure their health. The pneumogastric nerve, as shown here, may be said to be the most important of the entire nerve system, as it supplies the heart, lungs, stomach, bowels, etc., with the nerve force necessary to keep them active and healthy. As will be seen by the cut the long nerve descending from the base of the brain and terminating in the bow* els Is the pneumogastric, while the numerous llt-j tie branches supply thef heart, lungs and stom ach with necessary vitality. When the Drain becomes in any way disordered by irritability or exhaustion, the nerve force which it supplies is lessened, and the or««*as receiving the diiniiiiallL"'1 jpply are consequently wc^r-ned.
Physicians generally fail to recognize, the importance of this fact, but treat the on?an itself instead of the cause of the trouble The noted specialist, Franklin Miles, M. D., LL. B., has given the greater part of his llfo to the study of this subject, and the principal discoveries concerning ft are due to his efforts.
Dr. Miles' Restorative Nervine, the unrivaled brain and nerve food, Is prepared on the ale that all nervous, and many other
principl difficulties, originate from disorders of the nerve centeYs. Its wonderful success In curing these disorders is testified to by thousands in every part of the land.
Restorative Nervine cures sleeplessness, nervous prostration, dizziness, hysteria, sexual debility, St. Vitus dance, epilepsy, etc. It Is free from opiates or dangerous drugs. It is sold on a positive guarantee by all drug cists, or sent direct by the Dr. Miles Medical Co., Elkhart, Ind., on receipt of price, 1 per

No authority of greater experience on food products exists than Dr. Henry A. Mot't, of New York. Dr. Mott's wide experience as Government Chemist for the Indian Department, gave him exceptional opportunities to acquaint himself with the qualities and constituent parts of baking powders. He understands thoroughly the comparative value of every brand in the market, and has from time to time expressed his opinion thereof. On a recent careful re-examination and analysis he finds
Or. Price's Cream Baking Powder superior to all others in strength, purity, and efficiency. Dr.

There is no medicine so often needed in every home and so admiralby adapted to the purposes for which it is intended, as Chamberlain's Pain Balm. Hardly a week passes but some member of the family has need of it. A toothache or headache may be cured by it. A touch of rheumatism of neuralgia quieted. TLe severe pain of a burn or scald promptly relieved and the sore^-healed in much less time than when medicine has to be sent for. A sprain may be promptly treated before inflammation sets iu, which insures a cure iu about one-third of the time otherwise required. Cuts and bruises should receive immediate treatment before the parts become swollen, which can oniv be done when Pain Balm is kept at hand A sore throat must be cured before it mes serious. A troublesome corn may be removed by applying it twice a day for a week or two. A lame btck may be cuivd and several days of valuable time saved or a pxin in the side or chest relieved without tying a doctor bill. Procure a 50 cent bottle at once au.i

The hero of Mr. Brooks's story is a French lad who rendered a service to Nupoleon and becomes his page and finally an aide. He follows the Emperor through all the marvelous years of his reig- is with him at Elba and at Waterloo. I find Dr. Price's Cream Baking Powder tp be superior to all others, for the following reasons
1 st. It liberates the greatest amount of leavening gas and is consequently more efficient. te 5 2nd. The ingredients used in its preparation are of the purest character.
*Its keeping qualities are excellent. On account of the purity of the materials and their
relative proportions, Dr. Price's Cream Baking Powder must be considered the
acme of perfection
S
as regards wholesomeness
and efficiency, and I say this having in mind certificates. I have given several years ago respecting two other baking powders. ., The reasons for the change in my opinion are based on the above facts ohd the new method adopted to prevent your baking powder fsom caking and deteriorating in strength.
