He says: During the summer of 1882, my little girl, two years of age, was taken seriously ill with summer coinplaint—so common to children of that age. After being treated by a physician and getting no better, I took from my shelves a bottle of Chamberlains Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. She felt relieved after the first dose and in three days

Anderson will surely boom as it never boomed before. ... We heard a man, a few days ago, who works at Anderson and who rakes in plenty of the sheckels, expatiating upon the wonderful growth of that place, o( tlie many manufactories in operation and in course of construction at that and many other places and he was exultant
over the fact that so many avenues were tained a number of her friends very pieasthus opened by which not only himself, but thousands of others were enabled to get remunerative employment. As he is an intelligent man, we presume he understands this condition of things to have been brought about by the protective tariff. If it were not for this, himself and all the others would now be working for half their present wages, while the Englishmen and other foreign laborers would be reaping to a large extent, at least, the benefits we now enjoy, and yet this man is a Democrat and will vote for the party whose platform declares a protective tariff as Le.ng unconstitutional. In this we were more than ever brought to a realization of the inconsistency of man and brings to mind the quotation of Paul—Rom. 7-15. "For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not but what I hate, that do I."

I took a bottle of your diarrhoea remedy from the shelf gave him a dose sold him the bottle, and told him I would give him the money back if it did no good. He came in next moruiug and said the single dose did its work so well that he not only kept up his place binding during the afternoon, but had worked all night, aud had the price of the dose I gave him been three dollars it would have been cheap.
