John Perry White was horn near Cicero, Hamilton county, Indiai a, July 12, 1870 and died near Wilkinson, Thursday evening, April 1(5, 1891. He was the youngest son of John tnl Tempe:ance White. Aged 20 years, 9 months and 4 days. Disease being la grippe, and going to his brain his sickness being a littleover two weeks. He was married to Ola Cottreil, December 7. 1880. was born to th«m oue little boy, Jesse. He leaves a wife, one child, father, two sisters, at.d numinous other relatives and friends to Eomn his loss. The fuueral took place Saturday and a large number of relativ. and friends followed his remains to the Simmous cemetry. On his grave the morning sun wi.l rise and th.j evening twilight fade. There the hand of a (lee lion will plant the rose and the myrtle. As the years go by the stars will shine upon it and the gloom of the nights that are starless will robe it in blacknass. The winter winds will shriek about it and in the springtime the melody of the birds song and the perfume of the flowers will en virou it. CLEVELAND has hedged ou the silver question and would now sign a free coinage bill. He is after office and when asked what he favors, he answers "Oh Lord! anything so I can get office.

AT THE National Republican League mepting at Cincinnati this week, in a canvass of delegates for Presidential preference, Blaine had 211, Harrison 97. Alger 6, and no other man over two. The Ind iaua delegation stood Blaine 16, Harrison 14. From a personal knowledge of those voting for Blaine from this State, we can say the majority of them are disappointed office seekers, and judge the rest of the States were probably represented the same way. Enthusiastic Republicanism however was abundant, and J. S. Clarkson elected the next President.
