Collins were united in marriage. The ^.nuptial knot being tied by Rev G. W. Green. About 40 invited guests joined in the festivities of the day and the bride and groom received a number of £fine presents. The friends of the young couple are legion, and they all join with us in bespeaking for them a continual round of happiness and prosperity through life....

Newsom has been sick this week Mr. John Trees had his foot amputated last Saturday morning. He had mauy months of suffering aud no hope of recovery without amputation. Dr. Marsh and others of Indianapolis and this vicinity, performed the operation. He is doing quite well Mrs. Mary Reeves is on the sick list.... Bert Armstrong was very anxious to go to "The Woods" Sunday eve. Excuse— a pair of overshoes had previously been left there. .Rambler was in town again last Saturday, Come again Mr. Thomas Bagot of New Castle, was in town this week... .The quartette composed of Messrs. Ralph Wilson, Walter Orr and Misses Flora Brav and Iillie Newsom, met at the home of the latter on Saturday evening. The building collapsed in a very few miuutes and its entire contents, except a few articles in a rear frame building went down in the wreck.
