This young man with his father formerly lived in Eden and was well-known by all our citizens. Ola was eighteen years of age and well and favorably known and loved by all his associates. He was a very intelligent,genial young man with a great ambition for knowledge. For some time he had been living in Ohio, but being in poor health came hire to visit his sister and rest up. hard st.e.iy and work together being too much for him cause needed rest. He arrived here ou Monday 2'Jnd and died Monday ~0t.ii. The immediate cause of his death seemed to be congestion of brain. lie was possessed of many sterling qualities, indin: riuu iti everything he attempted to do, kind and generous hearted, anil made many warm friends wherever he went. His death was sudden and unexpected aud hi.-. many friends and relatives have the heart-felt sympathy of all. Rev. I. J. Biek'iel conducted the funeral services and preached a genuine Gospel discourse iiv.i« Matt. xxiv-14.
