The recent severe colil snap has beep hard on the oats which were I sown early. State Krn<| trucks have been busy for several days hauling gravel for the roads. Mr. II Mer will not rebuild his tenant home which uas recently destroyed by fire. Mr. Miller and family who occupied the home at the time of the fire will move to the Chadwick/farm, south of Fillmore. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Moore and daughter of Greencastle were Sunday dinner guests with Mr. and Mrs. James Farrow. Mr. Farrow, who is in rather poor health is feeling much better at this

time.

Mrs. John Henry Christy who has been seriously ill for several weeks is slowly improving and is able to sit up a portion of the time.

A number of women met at the bome of Mrs. Stanger one day last i week and tacked comforts and sew[ed for the family of .Mr. Miller who Inst most of their clothing and household goods in the fire which burned their house down. Mr. and Mrs. (lien Shinn spent the day Sunday with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Shinn, east of Rainhridgc.

Mrs. Gerrge Faller, who has been with her son Laurence and wife in Indianapolis the past few weeks, returned home Saturday and is slowly improving. Frank Edwards and daughter, Mrs. Iasi Faller and husband who spent the winter in Miami, Florida, returned home Saturday and report a delightful winter in the sunny South. George Jetfriei who has been seriously ill the past few weeks remains about the same.
