OPERA HOUSE Tuesday, December .29th. Tt-H MOI UICKIINCJ COMBblEININE I HUD A THOMAS IN

JANEY

“Janey”

“Janey" is the alluring title of a rollicing, original musical play, new to this city, which comes for one night on the 29th of December at the opera house. Though new here it lias made au unequivocal hit in other cities and has been spoken of by the press in a most flattering manner. Miss Thomas, the bright star of the company, has for several seasons past been known as one of the cleverest stars of the musical comedy world, having been the particular feature of several of B. C. Whitney’s attractions. Also was recognized for several seasons with Frank Daniels, and in offering her own production this season—one that was especially written for her peculiar style— ’Maney” is by far Hie brightest production that Miss Thomas has been in. It is a real treat to hear her funny sayings, said as only Miss Thomas can say them. Miss Thomas has surrounded herself with an excellent company. The story of the play is w r ell told and is a sweet story. “Janey” is the one you are waiting for.
