Williams will return this evening from a few 'ays visit in Indianapolis. BryceMartin of Indianapolis is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Milo West, south of town. Miss Helen Roberts of ludianapolisjs the guest of her cousins, Misses Bertha and Mary Tucker. Mrs. Clara Stillwagon of Victor, Iowa., who is the guest of Mrs. Nellie Overstreet at Hamrick Station today. Mrs. Mabel and Eadger Jackson will return today from Winona bake where they have been visiting for 2 weeks. John Dowling left yesterday for a vacation from his work as agent at the Vandalla Station. Mr. Dowling will spend the most of his time in Colorado, fishing and hunting. He will be near Cimmeron, Col., for a time.

The firm of W’ahle, Phillips & Co of New York, has been given the contract for the wiring and lighting fixtures for the new Carntgio Library. Tho contract was let yesterday afernoon. J. F. Hill has purchased a handsome new auto of the Black Co. at Auburn N. Y. Mr. Hill had a mach Ine a few weeks ago from the same company but it was damaged iu shipping and the oue received today re places that. Marshall Reeves his afternoon re ceived a telephone message from a constable in Rockville, asking him to look out for Harry A. Sparr. The young man Is wanted there by the police on a serious charge. He is 21 years old, medium height and has brown hair. Sparr left Rockville and It is bellved that he came toward Oreencastle.
