OBITUARY.

John William Wilson, the deceased son of Peter and Delilia Wilson was born March 10th 18-15 in Putnam County, Indiana. He made a public profession of his faith in Christ at Palestine church and was baptised into fellowship by Elder E. D. Thomas, June 26, 1S65. He was united in marriage t« Mary Byrd Nov. 24, 1887. He departed *his life Jan. 2. 1908. Being at that time 61 years and 10 months oid. And thus has ended the life of a good man. And the wise man Soloman has said, "Better is the day of the death of such a one than the day of his birth." He was a quiet, honorable. 1 peacable citizen. In all his relations

responded, Amen! Amen!

All that a devoted companion, kind friends and Medical skill could do was done for him but all to no purpose. The fell destroyer consumption had marked him for his victim, and after a long period of patient suffering the Master came and called for him and found him ready and waiting the summons. Bidding farewell to this life he “fell asleep in Jesus blessed sleep from which none ever wake to work." He leaves to mourn his loss a devoted wife five brothers three sisters and many friends. But we sorrow not as others who have no hope. Funeral services at Clear Creek church, conducted by Rev. A. S. Mayhall and Rev. Gregg. Interment
