Foe to Health Found in City.
"For the last two or three years I have found no city where rheumatism has a firmer hold upon the people than right here in Greenfield," said the Quaker Health Teacher last evening in answer to a question as to what most of the people suffered from who called to see him. "There is a great deal of stomach trouble here and many people are afflicted with catarrh in one form or another, but there are more sufferers from rheumatism than all the rest combined. But one other city I have visited approaches Greenfield in prevalency of this disease and that city is Cincinnati.K '•But even Cincinnati is far behind in the percentage of people who are suffering with rheumatism in different forms. "It may be possible that a great amount of this rheumatism is only superficial and is due to climate conditions. It is caused by uric acid in the blood and when once contracted it is not easily eradicated, as any one afflicted will readily testify. Old Mr. Rheumatism when he takes bold, hates to let go and sufferers from this complaint, if they have had it for ar|^ length of time, are apt to be very skeptical in regard to any thing ©n earth being able to cure them. I am therefore especially pleased when people suffering in this manner come to me for I know just what Quaker Herb Extract will do for them and do not hesita-e to recommend, ^it. V. L. Early, the drugg/st^ ljere, stands ready to refund ttiy purchase price for every Hpttle bought while I am here,\ if the

remedy does not do evei claimed for it." The Health Teacfeer said yesterday morning a case of this character came to light, when Mr. Shoemaker called, a man past middle age, and who seemed to be especially delighted with the results from the use of the Quaker Herb Remedies. He said: 'I have been troubled for some time past with rheumatism in the lower limbs, accompanied by sharp pains and swelling and cramping to such extent that it was very hard for me to get around at all. I have used part of one bottle of Quaker Herb Extract and one bottle of the Oil of Balm and the pains and those terrible cramps of the museles have almost entirely left me. I am now able to walk without the least trouble. This morning was th first time I have walked up stairs for three months and I could not have done this last week to save my life. I did it this morning without the least difficulty."

As t.he Health Teacher has stated, rheumatism is hard to ^et rid of and when it is considered that Mr. Shoemaker is past middle age and that the results he speaks of we accomplished in less than four days time, this is very remarkable and accounts for the tremend* ous sale the Quaker Remedies are now having in this city and where ever they have been introduced.
The Quaker Health Teacher would be glad to personally explain the merits of-tbe time tried Quaker Remediesja^dj w|ll make

Van Studdiford is a great favorite in Indianapolis. She has appeared here upon various occasions, being seen as the prima donna of Reginald De Koven's romantic opera, "Red Feather," and afterwards as the star of the tuneful musical comedy, 'Lady Teazle." As her yaudeville offering, Miss Van Studdiford has selected a repertoire of beautiful songs, and will sing them as only she knows how to sing tlwm.
The other headline attraction of the performance will be Paul Spadoni, the famous European juggler and strong man, who astonished New York last summer with his splendid exhibition. Spadoni has only one rival in the world—Paul Conchas, the German, who has already been seen at the Grand.
Still another important engagement for next week is the booking of McWaters, Tyson & Company in their novel offering entitled "Vaudeville." Mr. McWaters and Miss Tyson always have something good to present with each new season, and this year, with other entertainers to assist them, they are furnishing what ife said to be a genuine novelty, filled with good music, graceful dancing and comedy.
