CATARRH
To prove unquestionably, and beyond any doubt that Catarrh of the nose and throat can be cured, am furnishing patients through druggists, small tree Trial Boxes of Dr. Shoop's Catarrh Cure. Jdo this because I am so certain, that Dr. Shoop's Catarrh Cure will bring actual substantial help. Ifothing certainly, is so convincing as a physical test of any article of real, genuine merit. But that article must possess true merit, else the test will oondeihn, rather than advance it. Dr. Slioop Catarrh Cure is a snow white, healing antiseptic balm, put up in beautiful nickel capped glass jars at 50c. Such soothing agents as Oil Eucalyptus, Thymol, Menthol, etc., are incorporated into a Velvety, cream like Petrolatum, imported by Dr. fihoop from Europe. If Catarrh of the nose and throat has extended to the stomach, then by all toeans also use internally. Dr. Shoop's Restorative. Stomach distress, a lack of general strength, bloating, belching, biliousness, bad taste, etc. gurely call for Dr. Shoop's Restorative.
For uncomplicated catarrh only of the nose and throat nothing else, however, need be used but

The people in the country want an honest election. These very people too are the most unselfish and have the least personal interest in the results. Their interest is confined entirely to the point of good government The candidate in many cases and the boodlers, grafters and floats are always in favor of corrupt politics. They are in the game not for good governnor for loyalty to party, but for what they can get out of It. The people of the country are making rapid progress alon^ the line of requiring their of ficers not only to be right in their private and official business, but also in the manner in which they secure offices. They have decided that the tendency of a man who will do dishonest things! to get an office, will, if occasion offer, be to do dishonest things while in office. For many yearfe party fidelity has Covered a multitude of sins, but the time is coming when the party cry will fail to arouse men aad line them up for bad and incompetent men and dangerous and extravagant measures. This applies to one party as well as another. All the reform will not come in one year, and there will be some places where it will be slow to take hold, but it is surely coming all over the whole country and there are no places where its influence will not be felt.
Miss Magie, who advertised herself for sale to the highest bidder, has received notoriety, hundreds of insulting letters and a place on a yellow journal at double space rates while she lasts as a sensation. After she has lapsed into obscurity, hundreds of other girls will be struggling to be notorious in sitnular ways. The circles ram a pebble dropped into a cess pool widen just as fast as in pure water.
One of the candidates for Govern or of Massachusetts fainted at the conclusion of a speech he bad made a few days a^o. If it went so hard with hipi, what fortitude his audience must have had.
Secretary Bonaparte is being sued in Baltimore for twentyseven dollars. A can filled with coffee grounds, egg shells and grease floated into Mr. Bonaparte's sewer and the com plainant who paid seventy-nine dollars to stop the water backing" into her house alleges that the secretary did not pay his share of the expense. Here is an opportunity for Mr. Bonaparte to prove that he really is a great lawyer,

BATHING-
Many people who- take the very besl care of their body on the outside, give absolutely no thought to the cleansing necessary inside. Just think how foolish this is. You use soap to keep the skin clean and nothing to dislodge the impurities in the system. Germs and impurities are being taken into the body continually. They are in the air and ii: the food you eat, yet you let them accumulate, expecting Nature to pass them off.
You wonder what causes paiils in the back and sides, headache, bloating, belching and gfases in the stomach, indigestion dyspepsia, and complaints of like, character, when you are full of dirt germs and poisons that Nature refuses to work off naturally, and these impurities will stay there until you aid Nature to dispel them.
Certain organs of the human system may be called drains through which Nature expels matter taken internally These drains are bound to catch and hold part of this. You'may not know this, may not feel any effects of this accumulation, but it is taking place just the same. When your health suddenly breaks down, and not until then, you turn to sortie' medtcirte for relief. Why not' head, off disease, by cleansing your entire system occasionally?
