The fourth anniversary of the dedication of the Bradley M. E. church, will be observed on the last Sunday in November. E. W. Felt is chairman of the committee on arrangements.
The Bradley M. E. Sunday school reports an attendance of 328 the Christian 278 the Methodist Protestant 150 the Presbyterian 149. The collections were $9.68 at the Bradley school, $7.14 at the Christian, $3.75 at the M. P., and $4.07 at the Presbyterian.
Rev. W. W. Martin, pastor of the Bradley M. E. church, will spend the week in Richmond assisting the pastor of Grace church in a revival service. These pastors have ent ed into an agreement whereby the Rev. Mr. Martin is to be repaid for his work in Richmond by the pastor of Grace ohurch assisting in a revival to be held in this city the first of the year.
Miss Lena SJeicrest left today for wertern Colorado where she will spend the winter for the benefit of her health. She has been suffering for a few weeks from too close application to work and as a result had to quit her work. The rest she ^has taken has benefited her greatly and she goes away feeling that a few months in the high pure atmosphere Of OoloAdo will restore her to perfect health.

C. W. Morrison accompanied the body of the late Daniel Conwell to Indianapolis yesterday. It had been the expressed wish of the deceased, that no other undertaker take charge of his body in Indianapolis.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCormick, who had been in this city several months, went to Tipton last week where Mr. McCormick has accepted a situation. He is an electrician and was employed at the car barns in the east part of town.
Scarcely anything is doing nowadays in the circuit court, which in part is attributed to the election. A number of cases were continued for this reason, the different attorneys in this city and elsewhere being engaged in the campaign. The September term of court will end in a few days to be followed a week later by the November term.
A civil service examination for post office carrier and clerk will be held in this city Saturday. Since the appointment of Mr. Holt to succeed the Rev. Mr. Scotten as city carrier there has been no substitute and the clerks have been obliged to do duty on the streets on'several occasions. Ladies are eligible to appointment as clerks but not as carriers and several will probably take tfie examinations.
