Dr. Shoop's Night Cure is the Local. Dr. Sboop's Restorative, the Constitutional. Theformei^-Dr. Shoop's NightCure—isatopical toacous membrane suppository remedy, while Dr. fehoop's Restorative is wholly an internal treat. Snent. The Restorative roaches throughout the entire system, seeking the repair of all nerve. *11 tissue, and all blood ailments.

The "Night Cure", as its name implies, does its irork while you sleep. It soothes sore and inflamed mucous surfaces, heals local weaknesses and discharges, while the Restorative, eases nervous excitement, gives renewed vigor and ambition, .i, Dwilds up wasted tissues, bringing about renewed ^Strength, vigor, and energy. Take Dr. Shoop's

Restorative—Tablets or Liquid—as a general tonic to the system. For positive local help, use as well

GRAND OPERA HOUSE. The headline attraction of next week's bill of varieties at the Grand will be England's foremost ventriloquist, Coram, whose performance has long been one of the most popular specialties in the music halls of London, and the English towns There are many ventriloquists on the stage, both in this coun try and in Europe, but it remained for Coram to invent and present a ventriloquial entertainment so different from all others that it stands out as the the one big novelty in its particular field. Coram does not use a group of "dummies." s®

Another excellent fun maker OD the bill will be Charles Se mon, the long, thin comedian, who calls himself "the narrow feller," and whose comical songs and stories, alternating with his expert playing of various musical instruments, furnish twenty minutes of delightful entertainment. A one-act play entitled '•A Shave for a Wife," will be presented by those clever young farceurs, Lorimer Johnstone and Caroline Frances Cooke, both of whom are recruits to vaudeville from the dramatic stage and whose work is of the highest class.' Frederick Macart's wonderful dogs and monkeys will be seen in an exhibi tion that demonstrates the possibilities of animal training, the performance being considered the greatest of all trained animal acts.

The other contributions to this highclass program will be in keeping with the headline attractions. The Belleclaire Brothers, a pair of handsome young gymnasts and equilibrists from the Parisian vaudeville theatres, will appear in a splendid act in which each poses as a modern Hercules. Manning's Entertainers, a company of comical pantomimistS, will be seen in a hilarious farce, "A Hotel Porter the Mimic Four will offer a novel musical and dancing comedietta the Gartelle Brothers, expert roller skaters, will contribute a specialty entitled "Fun on the Rollers," and the bioscope will round out the bill with a series of novel motion pictures. The show gives promise of being an enjoyable one from start to finish

The first number indicates that Mr. Munsey has again accomplished a seeming impossibility in finding a new field for a new magazine. This is however as it should be, for since Mr. Munsey introduced the first 10 cent magazine, the publishing world has gotten more or less into the habit of waiting to see what he will do next. "Woman" his latest answer and a very good one. «•5'

ANEW MAGAZINE—''WOMAN."

The Sixth of the Frank A. Mur.sey Company's Pu51icationsThe Frank A. Munsey Company has, with the addition of its newest magazine "Woman," increased the total number of its monthly publications, to six. The oldest one of the six is The Argosy, which is now neatly twenty-four years old. The others are Munsey's, The AllStory, The Scrap Book and The Railroad Man's Magazine. The total circulation of these six magazines is over 2,200,000 copies and the amount of fiction issued by this one publishing house every thirty days, is said to weigh over five tons. "Woman" is a straight reading magazine, making up for its lack of illustrations by its wealth of stories, articles and departments. It was apparently built on the principle that a woman would rather read a good story than glance over a few pages of more or less interesting illustrations. The principle is undoubtedly a sound one, when the stories are as much worth reading as those in the November "Woman."
