Miss Cresence Johnson will leave this evening fo Jackson Missouri where she will visit her sister, Mrs. J. W. Taylor, who is dangerously ill.
Harvey Winn, an old Hancock county citizen living northwest of town who has been in poor health for some time, was able to be in town Wednesday.
A party composed of New7 Palestine and Greenfield people went to Kniglitstown today and spend the day with Miss Maud Brown, one ot the home girls. Miss Brown spent the summer with Miss Vania Gates.

John S. Rees, who has been conducting the Clover Leaf dairy, farm west of Greenfield, has purchased a half interest in A. J. Banks' shorthorn herd of cattle and moved to Mr. Banks' farm north-east of Greenfield.
Miss Pearl Scott, of South Mechanic street, celebrated her 16th birthday by giving a party to her friends Wednesday. The guests were entertained during the evening by music and games. The evening was spent most enjoyably. Refreshments of watermelon, bananas and^peaches were served. Those present were Misses Julia, Coffin, Leora Moore, Pearl Sco£t, Ruth Gorman and Pearl Hiylt, and Messrs Ace Boring, Artpur Peck, Wilbur Lynam, CarljHilt and Har ry Moore.
