DEFEATS INGAllS AGAIN

Hanna Pitches the Best Gams ot the Season.

McCordsville detected Ingalls in one ot the best games played this season by either team, in a close ten inning contest by a score of 1 to 0. It was an interesting game from beginning to limit, and the boys of botn teams displayed a great article of ball playing.

It was a pitchers battle in which Hanna decidely came out best, allowing Ingalls but two hits, striking out eight men. Only thirty-two men faced him. three reaching first and one second. This made Hanna's tenth straight victory. Hanna finished strong, striking out the first two men up in the tenth inning. ..

Ingalls started in to win the game at the very jump, but one man was all the}- could get on first. They did not see first again until the fourth when they got two hits together, but their glory faded when McCordsville made a double play and thus ended their look in. for from this on they did, not even get 'a man to the initial

O ift

sack. McCordsville got a look in first in the third when the first man up, .1. Pickle, got a hit, Hanna got a gilt and Brown got hit. thus with the bases full with no outs they could not reach home before the next three batters were out. Again in the fourth they let two men die on the sacks. They did not have a look in then until the eighth when hunt got a hit, Collins got a gift and Hiday got first on an error, but a quickdouble by Clapp and Dewey ended that inning.

In the tenth^ Olvey led off with a single, Hunt followed with a single, Collins and Hiday popped out, and then with two out Walker got a hit good for two sacks, bringing in Olvey, then J. Pickle hit out a fielders choice to Miller ending the runs.

Walker done the star fielding and received a cheer each time but once, when one did not stay with him.

When the game ended t. Ingalls boys found themselves in the white wash up to their eyes handed out by the. following" score: McCords ville AB PO A
