The Connorsville ConveBtion.

The Cennersville Republicans fought hard for the convention that was to nominate a congressman, but instead were given the convention that is to nominate delegates to the St. Louis Convention. They are glad now that they received the latter convention as it will be the biggest affair.

There area number of candidates and the politicians and delegates from alt over the district will be present and there will be a hot fight. Hancock county and Greenfield fwill be largely represented.

The names of R. A. Black, E. E. Stoner and S. R. Wells are mentioned as candidates from this county.

There is a general feeling over the district that this county Is entitled to and should have a delegate, so some one will be landed a winner as a determined effort will be made. We hope all the Republicans who can, will go to Connersville Wednesday evening or on the early train Thursday morning. The convention is at 1 p. M. Thursday.
