Torn About is Fair Flay.
Tbe boys who were arrested for robbing Morgan And is of $36, and who were confined in jail over sight, brought suit today against Mr. And is for false imprisonment. The blood hounds with which the Horse TL*ef Detective Association tried to track the boys failed to do their work, not getting.a scent on a track of any kind and ran around barking at everyone they saw and passed. The boys say their natnes are Edward Watklns and George Cureton, and are from Summitville, Ohio. They say that as they were stopped, searched and imprisoned without the least evidence against them, and that they now propose to make Mr. Andis dance to the music awhile. They have employed R. Card of Thanks.
We desire to return our sincere thanks to the friends and neighbors who so kindly favored us in our sad affliction during the sickness, death and burial of our father. We feel especially great ful to Rev. Gard, the church and those kind hearted brothers who so kindly consented to act as pall bearsrs, and to the members of the Rebekah lodge who presented those beautiful flowers, may their lives be full of sunshine and prosperity and their pathway through life be strewn with fragrant flowers and flaally when we all arrive at the river of death may we be able to pronounce correctly the word Shiooleth of good citizenship and pass on to a higher and better world.

A Bad Impression As to the Red Men.
An item in the New Palestine correspondence to the Serald aud Tribune last Friday throws a bad impression on the Independent Order of Red Men. It may be true some of the members acted wrong. Tne party who sent the items should be positive who they were before publishing all, as that kind of people, Red Men, are an honorable set of people and should be treated so by the public. Wenonah Tribe of this city, is especially careful whom they admit as brothers, and we think the citizen* of Greenfleld will admit this is a fact The personor persons who sent the items to the Herald office for publication has done us an injury. I don't think the editor of tha Herald thought much about the item, or else he would hava left it out of his papdrs. Knowing, as he does, the class of citizens which compose our tribe and whnt the Order has done in this city.
The body was organized for the good of the members and what is good for tbe cit zens is good for the town and community. It is an Order chat is organized to watch over and aid the sick and poor, the widows and orphans. The people of this city know what this tribe ts done for its members. While sick we pay close attention, and for the poor children we have fed them all. Now we deny that any of the members of onr tribe were drank as they insinuated in
