The Jury Its Own Boss.
Judge Stephenson, of Noblesville, has inaugurated a new departure in jury service in the Hamilton county circuit. In civil cases, after charging the jury, he sends them to their room with directions to adjourn for meals and reconvene, the same as sessions of court, and to hold a night session after supper if necessary to reach a verdict. During their adjournments they are instructed not to converse about the case. This obviates the necessity of boarding the jury and gives them reasonable working hours without keeping them up all night, as frequently happens under the old system. The Judg says this plan is an experiment with him and so far has given satisfaction.
The Problem Solvedt
If you are wise and desire to regain your health, then you will heed the advice of thousands and use the finest flour on earth. To do this you must use the "Leader Bread" where you get purification. Ask your physician.
NEW BROS.
IS DIFFERENCE.
Tennyson could take a worthless sheet of paper, write a poem on and make it wortn $65,000. THAT'S GENIUS.
Vanderbilt can write a few words on a sheet of paper and make it worth $5,000,000. THAT'S CAPITAL.
The United States can take an ounce and a quarter ofgold, stamp upon it an "Ea^le Bird" and make it worth $20. THAT'S MONEY.
A mechanic can take material worth $5 and make it into watch springs worth $1,000. THAT'S SKILL.
A merchant can take an article worth $1 and sell it for $1.50. THAT'S BUSINESS.
Some people will go to Indianapolis to buy goods when they can save money by trading at home. THAT'S FOOLISHNESS.
A laborer works ten hours a day for $3 per day. TEAT'S LABOR.
The writer of this could write a check for $800,000, but it wouldn't be worth anything. THAT'S ROUGH.
But when we sell you dolls childreus sets of dishes, cbina, glassware, lamps and fancy baskets below all competition at home or abroad, and have the best line to select from, THAT'S REALITY.

Word comes that Homer Teeters, a druggist at London, Shelby county, shot and probably mortally wounded Henry Wilkins. Wilkins was in the drug store and when Teeters attempted to close up Wilkins refused to leave. Teeters forcibly ejected him, and while locking the front door Wilkins opened fire with a revolver, one bullet entering Teeter's left side. Teeters then fired six times, one bullet taking ^effect in Wilkin's mouth. The men emptied their revolvers at each other. Wilkins is thought to be fatally wounded.
