How to Cook Game.
As a rule all dark fleshed birds, like ducks and grouse, should be cooked about as rare as roast beof, so that tho blood runs from the knife. Birds with w7hite flesh, like partridge, should be as well done as a barnyard fowl. A simple rule for time allowTs 18 or 20 minutes' roasting for either canvasback or redhead duck, 15 minutes for teal, 18 or 20 minutes for grouse, 12 or 15 minutes for doe birdis, 10 minutes for either plover or woodcock and 8 or 10 minutes for English snipe. Tender, plump quail require from 15 to 18 minutes and the average plump partridge from 35 to 40 minutes. This implies the briskest heat the oven can give.
How to Make Cocoanut Cosmetic.

How to Care For Oil Stoves.
Put in neAV wick about once a month and keep it perfectly clean, and use the best of oil and keep it well trimmed. It is the bad air that comes from old wicks which is'very bad to inhale.
How to Remove Scars.
Scars maybe removed or made less conspicuous by a daily application of hot olive oil, rubbing the oil into the skin with the tips of the fingers.
