All enjoyed themselves hr^ely and left wishing Or wen many such happy anniversaries. Oysters were served iu grand style. Plenty of mihiC by the cornet band and orchestra.

James Cole, who moved to this neighborhood lrom Kentucky some time since, is very sick with stomach trouble and dropsy. His recovery is doubtful.

Willis Fuller wn brought home from Indianapolis this week by his father, Henry Fuller, iu a critical condition from lung fever, and now typhoid fever has set in.

U. G. Wilson, who has been sici with typhoid fever, is able to be out. The Suuday Schools at Ur'ou and Mohawk are still alive and doing well, contrary to some predictions that a Sunday School cannot survive the winter in the country.

Rev. Wi Ilia 11 Gossett was here and preached the funeral of Mrs. Jaiie Tlittle at Sugar Creek church. Mr. Gossett was on the Warrington circuit a number of times some years ago, and every one WAS glad to see him again, as he was a special friend of the little folks at that time.

There was an organization effected last week at Mohawk, iu which each member shall take hi3 regular turn in setting up or helping to take care of the sick belonging to the organization, or forfeit $1 to pay some one tojgo in his place. In this way it is hoped to give the sick better attention aud relieve the family of some of the grc-.it care that comes with a long and severe illness.

Samuel Honey has moved to the farm of William Albea, two miles uurth of town.

W. I. Garriott, our enterprising young merchant is building an addition to his store. He was at the city Tuesday ordering his Christmas goods.

Alonzo Hiatt, who has been working in the flouring mill has moved to his farm near Shirley.

There will be a basket supper at the new school building next Saturday evening in behalf of the Sunday School. Everybody invited to attend.

John Thorpe is having his house remodeled by J. S. Orr. A protracted meeting is in session at Zion's Chapel, two miles north of here.

Miss Maggie Titus, ot Clinton county was the guest of Miss Etta Bairett last Sunday. .j

The Warrington graded school is flourishing under the competent and elhcient corps of teachers, viz. W. B. Stookey. Principal: W. T. Orr, Gramnier and .-s Etta Barrett, Primary. This is shown by the fact that mere are 110 iudusirions pupils enrolled.

Both churches are preparing for Christmas entertainments. Our schools are also preparing an interesting program, which will be given before Christmas. Our entertaiumeuts are all free and lirstclass.

Jesse Ebiiugh, of the iirm ot Ebaugh & Cayior, has placed a handsome street lamp in front of their store, which is a very useful improvement. It would be well for some of our other citizens to follow Mr. Ebaugh's excellent example.
