NEW YORK, Feb. 23. Alaskan ail
fields of 35,000 acres, set apart last
year by President Harding as Naval
Petroleum Tleserve 4, promise pro
duction as rich as Teapot Dome, ac
cording to Alfred H. Brooks of Washington, chief of the United
States geological survey, who spoke at a symposium on petroleum and gas at the 129th annual meeting of the American Institute of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers. "This entire region was examined by the geological survey at the request and expense of the Navy department," said Mr. Brooks. "Sidney Paige last summer made an ex
amination of the oil seepages which
have long been known near Cape
Simpson, fifty miles southeast pf Point Barrow, the northernmost
point of Alaska. He reports two
very large seepages emanating from the small ridges, about a mile apart
and several miles from the coast.
"These are marked by flowing pe
troleum and cover many acres. There is a very large accumulation
of petroleum residue. No other seep
ages have been found, but what is known of the geology is not unfavorable to an oil field." W. II. Estabrook, geologist of the Midwest company at Caspar, Wyo.,
said recoveries from the- Teapot Dome fields are far less than the
estimates at the time Sinclair signed
the lease. "Only one-third of the
Sinclair leasehold is on Teapot Dome
land proper," Mr. Estabrook said. "The other two-thirds is an integral part of the Salt Creek oil field. Inasmuch as there are thirty-five companies operating in the Salt Creek fields, it stands to reason that this portion of the Naval reserve, or twothirds of the Sinclair, holdings, aTe being drained by some 700 wells owned by those thirty-five companies. Two-thmls of the producing wells of the Sinclair company are on the Salt Creek portion of the Naval reserve."

For the last six months you hare been reading my lengthy and costly explanations and descriptions of the
most wonderful discovery of the
most wonderful Water Filters of all Water Filters, the natural stone
with its hundreds of thousands of pores o small the human eye can
not possibly see or discern them, on the Bame principle as the pores in the human skin wherein the red coloring of the blood fails to pass through, yet, the clear perspiration does. And so it is with this most wonderful stone of all stones, in
not only extracting germs and microbes, but also the far, far more dangerous mineral substance found in all city, well and spring water that is founciby analysis, to contain from 100 to SCO grainB-to the gallon of the drinking water, and do it right before their eyes and doing its own talking. The same deadly min
eral substance which is eating and
destroying the tinware and forming stone in the teakettle in every
household in the land. You drink the same water, and the same identical mineral substance is carried to the different parts of the body
with deadly effects in the way of gallstones, stones in the bladder, filling the cavities and coating of the stomach the same as the teakettle, destroying the kidneys, digestive organs, urinary organs, and causing its effects in many other respects and sending thousands to the hospitals and that dreaded operating table. And by the use of this Godgiven, natural stone, and the extracting of the excess of this
deadly mineral substance from the drinking water, we have hundreds of sworn affidavits from living, wellknown and responsible people with their full names and addresses, who gladly hold their hands up to God and declare under oath to their friends, neighbors and the world,
how quickly the , use of this most
marvelous natural stone Water Filter and double cooler combined, removed the cause, and after years of suffering and doctors, specialists and all had failed, that they are now back to health and happiness, and declare that the Noles Water Filter did it. Send 8 cents postage and we will send you a bundle of them so you can write to them.
Yes, I broadcasted all this good j news, and how soon this most marvelous discovery and invention made my little fortune, and at old age
and health ruined by flu, I decided to now give others a chance to get into business for themselves and better their financial condition, by setting them up in business with my own money with many salesmen under them, and my partners handle all money and take out the enormous big end and send me the enormous small end, and it proved a sweeping success and some have already cleaned up thousands and going right on.and I do this all, and only require them to show good
faith by backing themselves with but little, $300, when I back them with much, and up to date, 41 have availed themselvesof such a chance
of a lifetime, and no experience re
quired and factory running, and men
now coming from all directions and j room for more of the wise ones. So j investigate and . meet the surprise j of your life, but send reference and i state 'you have the little good faith !

'Twenty-five Klansmen braved a
storm to pay a visit to Valley church Wednesday evening, and to praise
the minister for the great good hel
is doing for the community. In ad
dition to praising the good work of
the minister, a large envelope, con
taining quite a sum of money, was
placed on the altar by the Klansmen. - In expressing his thanks and appreciation of having his church visited, also for the financial assistance, the minister prayed that God would lead Klansmen to victory and that through their efforts the world might be saved. "It is up to you Klansmen to show and to teach that
he who would live under the Stars and Stripes must be taught to know well that America is still America, with her own standards, her jjwn ideas, her own destiny and her own laws," he said.
